TEXT Foundation, registered in Nigeria in 2020, is established to support existing educational institutions. We focus on concepts of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths (STEAM) as well as boosting the advancement and promotion of education, lifelong learning and skills development amongst individuals of all ages.
The Liberty TEXT Schools & Radio School Program are one of the foundation’s pioneer projects. Our overall goal at TEXT is to ensure equitable access to basic primary education for all Children of school age in Nigeria through the use of alternative learning platforms such that every young person regardless of social background or geographic location acquires a fundament level of foundational and digital literacy.

The overall objective of TEXT Foundation is to transform basic education in Nigeria through two distinct areas of focus:
1) The Establishment of Liberty TEXT Schools.
2) Foundational Literacy as a single focus area for Out Of School Children (OOSC) by the establishment of Radio Schools via Interactive Radio Instruction (IRI).
Other Objectives include:
1. To reduce the number of Out Of School Children (OOSC) by 10% by 2026 through key collaborations and partnerships.
2. To promote the adoption of STEAM methods in teaching.
3. To promote the inclusion of OOSC in educational programs using methods such as radio schools and other innovative approaches.
4. To provide standard creative learning spaces.
5. Negotiate with other national or international bodies for funding.
6. To develop schools and other educational centres that are STEAM-based.
7. Establish, maintain, endow or sponsor prizes, scholarships, bursaries and other benefactions to students and teachers in different regions across Nigeria.
8. To promote research and knowledge sharing in subjects related to education and similar topics and to educate and influence public opinion.
